Wayne Reynolds founded MorCo Powder Coating in 1995. Built on the foundation of being locally owned and operated, our company has been providing local residents in the Midlands area with unparalleled service at affordable prices.
In 2012, Wayne was diagnosed with cancer, so his daughter, Morgan Douglass, stepped in to run the business. Today, MorCo Powder Coating is still the leading company in the greater Columbia area, with a strong commitment to delivering the best industry value to our neighbors.
Over two decades of experience
Powder coating is a nontoxic way to apply color and a protective, industrial-strength coating to all types of metal products. The powder we use is made from polyester, which is then sprayed onto the piece. We then bake it at 400 degrees to create a durable, long-lasting finish.
We go to great lengths to remove old coatings or rust through sandblasting. Our skilled technicians can weld or repair deficiencies to the item before powder coating.
Powder coating has become preferred over wet painting that uses harmful chemicals for most metal coating applications. Powder paint is environmentally-safe and does not involve the use of harmful or corrosive chemicals.
